In this lecture we will discuss the tails of the prominent composer of the Romantic era. We will demonstrate the structural duality of his compositions, as he maintains his loyalty to the musical trends of the Classical era while also focusing on the musical miniatures that became a symbol of a century that placed human emotion at its center of attention. We will also regard the composer’s renowned grandfather, Rabbi Moses Mendelssohn, and demonstrate his revolutionary ideas and their influence on the Jewish people, among them his famous grandson.
